We are looking for 25 Construction Supervisors with rotating / mechanical experience who will lead & supervise the project team during the construction phase and able to communicate and work well with colleagues from a variety of countries and cultures, as well as has an adaptable nature and likes to work on challenging projects. As Construction / Rotating Supervisor you ensure compliance with all rules, health & safety and environmental protection. Of course you provide proactive support on all technical aspects of installation works on components performed by subcontractors. Monitor the time schedule and deadlines, perform interim inspections and report on the construction & testing status of the project to Mechanical Site Manager. As Construction Supervisor you induct and instruct all contractors before they commence work and coordinate their actions. You are liaison to the client for workers and project management team. And of course ensure on-time completion of handover to commissioning team, construction and commissioning manual documentation. The start date will be towards the end of the year and the project is estimated to run for up to three years minimal. During the construction, the working schedule will be two months on site (working a 40 hour week) based in Egypt followed by one month off. REQUIREMENTS We are looking for candidates who have experience in new build and rebuild/maintenance of power plants, gas turbines and power generation. Our candidate has; BsC (or equivalent) Mechanical Engineering (structural, rotating) or Equivalent A proven track record in new build power plants or power plant maintenance Demonstrated experience with large gas turbines or steam turbines used in power plants Minimum of 5 years work experience Excellent leadership, collaboration and problem solving skills, ability to transfer knowledge Willingness to work abroad for 1-3 years in a 2:1 rotation (travel, housing and other expenses are covered by client) Experience in team building, coaching and mentoring people Self-determined, strong-minded, result-oriented team player, with great professional ethics Demonstrated ability to direct multi-skilled professional teams Fluent English knowledge in writing and speech Experience in working in an international project team and in Africa would be an advantage
