Lufthansa oil&energy club is being closed and that Lufthansa must therefore end all memberships on the expiry of oil&energy club card.
Until then, the validity of your current oil&energy club card and your Frequent Traveller status will remain unaffected, and you can, of course, continue to make the most of your privileges. It will not be possible to extend these privileges past your card’s expiry date; however, the special terms with Europcar and the day room offer will remain available to you until 28 February 2017.
You can also secure your Frequent Traveller status independently of your oil&energy club membership by earning at least 35,000 status miles or taking at least 30 status relevant flights within one calendar year.
We will write to you again in good time to inform you of the exact date on which your personal club membership will end.
