We are urgently looking for Plant Fitter for Tunneling project.
Details:
Project: Onshore;
Starting date: ASAP;
Salary: will be discussed privately with candidate.
Location: Europe;
Contract: 14 days on/ 14 days off.
Project for a long term.
Requirements:
Qualifications NVQ level 2 or 3 (or recognised apprenticeship). Work experience alone can also be sufficient if we have reliable references available from previous employers;
Minimum of 5 years experience on tunnelling projects;
CSCS/CPCS card;
Experience in working with equipment involved in SCL tunnel construction, for example batching plants, shotcrete pumps and spraying equipment, excavators (eg 360, Bobcat, dumpers), ventilation etc.;
Hand-on knowledge of general fitting, hydraulics, diesel engines, braking systems etc.
Duties:
Able to maintain, inspect and repair all equipment in-line with company procedures and processes;
Complete all relevant repairs and checks, completing all necessary administration, working within a high level working environment;
Capture and identify machine damages, ensuring clear lines of communication are maintained with both Managers and customers;
Work within a high pressured environment and within strict deadline.
