For one of our respectable clients we are recruiting :

2/O - ROV pilot

Vessel: DP2 FFPV
Joining: short notice .
Location: Europe .
Duration: 4 week's on 4 week's off.
Wages: attractive day rate netto + Dutch pension package.

EU candidates only !!!

General Responsibilities as ROV-Pilot
•   General maintenance complete R.O.V. system during sea passage;
•   Before and after rock dump activities complete check-up on the hydraulic/electronic and survey equipment;
•   During built-up / breakdown procedure fall pipe, and movements with the vessel, responsible for clearance with the seabed or any obstructions on the seabed;
•   During dumping operations responsible for height and position R.O.V. and Fall pipe;
•   In according with the project engineer, the amount off rocks and vessel speed during each run over the dump area;
•   During pre and post survey   be aware that  the adjustment off all the survey equipment is correctly;
•   Recognise / Identify any problems with the R.O.V. or survey equipment;
•   To know the technical documentation which is relevant to his function;
       Correction of sea charts and nautical publications.

General Responsibilities as 2nd Mate
•   His 12-hour-period of the sea-watch during sea passage;
•   MOB operation;
•   Mooring and anchoring operations on the fore ship;
•   GMDSS - Operation, recording calls and events;
•   Safe embarkation and debarkation of pilot and other persons;
•   Draught readings during surveys, arrival and departure;
•   Contents of the medicine locker;
•   To know the SMS and technical documentation which is relevant to his function.

   He participates in:
•   Dynamic Position operations during his DP-watch;
•   Loading and (de)ballast operations during his watch;
•   The sea readiness of the vessel during his watch;
•   Bridge team during fire drill;
•   Maintenance of safety and lifesaving equipment.
