As part of the Ship’s Management Team the officers are responsible for the day-to-day running of the vessel in all respects, including ship safety, security,
manoeuvring, maintenance and reporting routines. Tasks are being delegated for each rank and Officers are responsible for the execution of their allocated duties, as well as sharing a common responsibility for the safety and good performance of the vessel. Other responsibilities of Officers are compliance with the
Fairmount’s Ship Management System and local, Flag State and International Regulations and Conventions.
Suitable candidates are expected to have the following qualifications:
* Licenced Officer, including all STCW required certificates for the applicable discipline.
* Several years of experience on Offshore support vessels as Officer.
* Safety conscious and familiar with quality management systems, including ISM.
* Good communication skills with all parties.
* Good knowledge of on-board accounting, administration and documentation.
* Team player, prepared and able to bear responsibility.
* Good written and spoken English
