DP FMEA familiarization will be delivered starting from the 22nd of October 2013.

Purpose:
A Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is required by class for any Dynamically Positioned (DP) vessel for Class 2 or Class 3.The objective of the DP FMEA familiarization course is to improve your skills to use and understand content of the FMEA report, identify any single failure that may lead to a total loss of position, loss of generation or loss of thrust. Proper understanding of those recommendations will help you to improve the performance or the safety of the vessel. This training will be useful for superintendents, captains, all persons who work with FMEA report on DP vessel.

Лерус взял в чартер ДП судно. Оно стоит в Стамбуле. делают людям бейсик и отправляют на это судно на 30 дней, по возвращению оттуда людям делают ДП Адванс. вторая группа уже вернётся домой через пару недель. набрана третья группа.

вычитал на хохлофоруме. информация правдива? если да то респект Лерусу за находчивость ну и естественно соболезнования всем кто ещё без дп билета.

The terms of this offer are as follows:

1) If you have DP Basic + Anchor Handling + Ship Handling certificates issued by Lerus. Please do a prepayment of DP Advanced training course in Lerus Training and prepare for 30 days of DP familiarization without salary during the period on board

2) If you only have DP Basic certificate issued by Lerus. Please do a prepayment of DP Advanced + DP Position Reference Systems + Drilling familiarization training courses in Lerus Training and prepare for 30 days of DP familiarization without salary during the period on board

Всё-таки,респект находчивым людям.Это ,как в космосе побывать на самолёте с искусственной невесомостью.Только там пипл этого от избытка бабосов делает,а тут походу конвейер по штамповки продвинутых кадров,чтоб потом во вторую очередь встать-за работой в смысле.

The Nautical Institute old training scheme for DPO (untill 2015) requires 30 days of familiarization period after completing of DP Basic course.
You can see "DENAR 2" - ROV Support vessel on the photo above.
"DENAR 2" is equipped by Kongsberg DP System - Class 1 and you have chance to finish DP familiarization period on board this vessel.
