One of our Clients looking for technical personnel. Below you will find a draft job description:
Technician heavy equipment: As a technician within the team in the workshop “ rolling stock “ in Aalst, responsible for repairs to earthmoving machines. The workshop in Aalst is equipped with the latest tools and special tools to quickly carry out maintenance and overhauls of our machines. You also offer technical support on our Belgian yards.
Checking the condition of the machines and responsible for repairing and maintenance of the various machines rolling stock.
You have a degree of A2 mechanics or equivalent.
You are a team player, show initiative and are flexible.
You are prepared to go abroad for short periods to our suppliers or yards.
You have a driving license.
Site technician environmental installations: For assembly, maintenance and repairs to mobile water treatment plants and sludge processing machines at our various yards.
Tasks:
- construction of the water treatment plants, installation of the pumps and pipes and electrical connection and start-up of the installation
- maintenance and cleaning of the installations, replacement of wearable parts
- repairs of the pumps and their parts
- making day reports
- Electromechanical degree or equivalent through experience
- knowledge about PLCs and frequency converters, pumps and fans is a plus
- good communication skills, orderly, able to work independently
- flexible attitude is necessary
- Prepared to go abroad for short periods
In general the work is for 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. The accommodation will be provided by our client.
