We are looking for a
Safety Technician to Pipe lay vessel around 14.09.2016.
Location: Europe
Work arrangements : 8 weeks on / 4 weeks off
Job Objective(s) : Perform maintenance on safety, and SOPEP equipment and assist with marine operations.
Authority/Responsibilities : Maintain safe working practices. Authority to promote safety, and SOPEP equipment maintenance and responsible for adhering to work instructions.
Job Tasks : Maintain fire-fighting, life saving and SOPEP equipment as directed by the Chief Mate. Assist in all matters related to Marine Operations. Liaise with chief mate concerning stock control on safety/ SOPEP equipment.
Qualifications :Basic Safety Training, BOSIET (HUET), Ship Security Awareness. AB / certificate is a plus, possible carpenter skills as well.
