We are currently searching for Chief Engineer on big offshore Accommodation and Repair Vessel
The vessel is chartered by PETROBRAS and will be working in BRAZIL
Contracts 2 months on/off rotation
Salary will be advised to the selected candidates only
Embarkation at the end of May 2013
Essential Requirements:
Chief Engineer Unlimited COC
Relevant experience on big offshore vessels as a Chief Engineer
Appropriate STCW95?s
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience Required :
Sufficient previous service on board of vessels with diesel electric power plant/propulsion, high voltage certificate.
Well familiar with DP operations, awareness of redundancy principles, previous involvements in DP operations, if possible carrying IMCA DP Engineer’s logbook with sufficient recorded DP time
Work on board of modern vessels with high level of automation, i.e. vessels with K-Chief automation system
Experience with podded propulsion systems, retractable thrusters
