Introduction:
Our client is a very well established large international company who have been providing services to the oil & gas sector for many years.

They now have an immediate requirement for a Sea Captain to captain one of their sea surface vessels in Brazil.  Please note that this is a permanent position with an annual, extremely attractive tax free salary which reflects the seniority of this position.  Included in the package are some very attractive benefits, some of which are listed below, including an 'in service premium' adding a substantial percentage to your basic salary.  Details of this will be provided to suitable Sea Captain applicants.

Although it is not essential my client is very interested in Ship Captains who have previously served in the Royal Navy having previously captained a surface ship.  Applicants must satisfy STCW and have an Unlimited Master licence.  Questions regarding this aspect can be asked on application.

Working 28 days on, 28 days off, you will have complete authority of the vessel, including the safety of all personnel onboard as well as for the vessel itself.

- Very strong organiser who can remain calm when under pressure.

Vessel Superintendent.  c?45K plus benefits.  The position is based at head office but you will be required to visit vessels as part of your managerial role on a worldwide scale, to promote communication and inter-department as well as inter-company relations relating to the effective running of our vessels. This will involve travel and working away, coordinating projects.

Candidate Requirements:

We would welcome applicants with recent experience within the marine industry, either in a seagoing role or shore-based position where they are or were involved with ships' maintenance, repair and dry-docking. We would certainly consider those who have gained experience working in shipyards within manufacture or repair, and previous experience of overseeing vessel conversions and refits. Any supervisory, management and project planning experience within any of the above areas would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will should possess a Class 1 Certificate of Competency, ?€?Engineering or Deck' or an equivalent qualification and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of vessel operational requirements including, but not limited to, ISM, Classification Society Regulations and Flag State requirements, SOLAS and MARPOL.

You will have a proven track record demonstrating commercial awareness and judgement in ship management in the international arena. We are looking for a dynamic individual with team spirit and a determination to get the job done. Confidence and the ability to communicate appropriately working with those involved on our projects are also key attributes to bring to this role.

[off-topic]Проживающим в Калининграде тестирование проходить:[/off-topic]  теперь доходчиво и ясно... ;D за бабло 21% ??? можно и в другом месте найти работу.Кстати ,это S/M тоже за бабло людей устраиавет,не удивлюсь ,что и результаты можно корректировать.... C:-) Tакой тест в LTSA даром можно сдать и серт получить при трудоустройстве.

При любом раскладе, последнее слово остается за судовладельцем,  а сейчас перед посадкой на судно, дополнительно проводится собеседование, и бабло сегодня ,уже нетак всесильно, как это было вчера…

Слышал когда-то историю про преподавателя, который за деньги "содействовал" в поступлении в институт. Собирал деньги, не делал совсем ничего, а тем, кто проваливался на экзамене, возвращал деньги..
