Vessel : Pipelay vessel 8 point mooring.
Location: Persian Gulf .
Joining: mid of January 2012.
Duration: 12 week's.
Wages: attractive day rates netto according to experience.

Job Title : Barge Foreman
Responsibilities :
To ensure that all works are carried out in a safe manner with regards to his personnel.
To ensure that all works will not pose any danger to the environment.
To ensure that all works will not result in equipment damage.
Responsibilities to Personnel:
To ensure that his personnel are properly trained in the tasks appointed to them.
To ensure that his personnel are aware of the hazards of their appointed work place.
To ensure that his personnel are aware of the hazardous areas (no entry) aboard the vessel.
To ensure that the proper PPE is worn at all times where applicable.
To ensure that his personnel are aware of all safety and emergency procedures aboard the vessel.
Job Tasks :
Oversee trade foremen.
Co-ordinate construction activities throughout the vessel.
Ensure the Superintendent is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status.
Liaise with the Field Engineer on all project related operations.
Assist the Superintendent in pre-contract equipment and plant preparations.
Assume the duties of Superintendent in the event of the Superintendent being incapacitated.
Stop construction activities if required on safety grounds, or on technical grounds if to continue could cause damage to plant or pipeline.
Qualifications :
Must speak fluent English
Minimum five years’ experience as Barge Foreman on mayor offshore pipelay vessel
Completion of external safety/trade training.
