OFFSHORE SUPERINTENDENT FOR CLV
Position: Superintendent
Vessel: Cable Layer vessels
Contract: Permanent employment
Rotation: 5 weeks ON / 5 weeks OFF

Job:
* overall responsibility for the complete installation process
* reports to discipline Project Manager
* directs all cable installation crew on board
* ensure adhere Health & Safety Policy
* arrange adequate safety and environmental awareness training for his personnel
* ensure the updating, distribution and implementation of procedures
* daily report to the Discipline Project Manager and to communicate with the client’s representative
* to determine the execution of the cable installation operations
* to liaise with the Barge Master
* to ensure that all cable engines controls and instrumentation are functioning correctly and that they are continuously monitored and adjusted as required
* to prepare daily reports in which significant events will be recorded
* to oversee the cable lay supervisor

Language: English fluent
Requirements:
* experience with starting up new operations
* proven leadership capabilities
* team leader
* social abilities
* be natural on par with Barge Master
* capable to replace cable lay supervisor
* valid BOSIET and valid Offshore / Seafarers medical examination
* experience on a cable layer
