We are looking for Steel Structural Carpenter to join shallow to ultra deep water S-Lay vessel or barge, with a long-term contract on permanent rotation.

Contract Duration: 30.06.2022 (extendable)
Rotation: Negotiable
Salary: Negotiable

Location: Saudi Arabia

Job Description and Main Tasks:
Perform structural steel fabrication and erection activities in accordance with Foreman’s instructions and safety and quality requirements;
Ensure structural steel fabrication and erection is carried out according to approved fabrication, erection and assembly drawings;
Verify the equipment, tools and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to Foreman;
Ensure coordination with the adjacent works to minimize coactivities and avoid unsafe conditions;
Follow the permit-to-work statement;
Ensure the housekeeping of the work location.

Requirements:
Knowledge of structural steel erection sequences and methodologies. Ability to interpret structural steel drawings and capability to produce red mark up drawings;
Basic knowledge of all the main international construction standards, codes and regulations. Ability to interpret them and to supervise their application;
Ability to read and interpret technical project documents (isometrics, P&IDs, plot plants, etc.);
Ability to identify possible issues in the documentation and take corrective actions;
Knowledge of the various types of rigging and lifting equipment;
Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment, main risks during the operation activities and safe working and environmental protection procedures/practices & rules to be applied.
