If you need a job then of course go. 6 over 6 watch is not easy as you never sleep more than 5 hours in a row. 6 weeks is possible to work in that schedule. I worked like that for 2.5 years and at the beginning it was 3 months contracts (also same type of vessel). Short distances between ports doesn’t matter as you are on duty only during your watch.
