We are looking for:
• 1 Barge Master 15.07. – 29.07.
• 1 Barge Pilot 06.07. – 20.07.
• 1 Barge Pilot 20.07. – 29.07.
Task description for a Barge Pilot:
- Control of the barge in the construction site
- Operation and monitoring of up to 5 winches, the spud poles and their aggregates, as well as control and monitoring equipment
- Operation of the Schottel propulsion
- Responsibility for towing activities incl. communication with the tug boat
- General deck work and general crafts activities on board
Task description for a Barge Master:
- Independent management of the barge
- Responsibility for the safety of the barge, the environment and the persons on board
- Control of the barge at the construction site
- Responsibility for all barge related subjects during towage
- Monitoring the functioning of the on-board safety devices
- Planning of the work assignment on board
- Collaboration on project-related personnel planning and documentation
- Close coordination with the Offshore Installation Manager and the Cablelaying Superintendent on all project, safety and environmental related matters
- Organization and coordination of subcontractors on the barge
Requirements:
National COC;
National SB;
Valid STCW certificates;
Experience on same position;
5 GWO modules;
or
BOSIET +CA-EBS;
GWO Manual handling;
GWO Sea Survival;
GWO Working at heights;
MLC medical certificate;
Offshore medical certitficate;
Marlins test is preferable;
Good references.
