DP-DT system
In 2012, several of our vessels, including trailing suction hopper dredger Vox M?xima, were fitted with dynamic positioning dynamic tracking (DP-DT) systems. This system, which is comparable to a navigation system, enables us to do our dredging work very accurately and cost efficiently. It prevents unnecessary dredging work, thereby significantly reducing our rate of energy and fuel consumption. We developed this system in close collaboration with the supplier.
