Duties and Responsibilities:• responsible for performing maintenance, housekeeping, repair and rigging on deck , deck – machinery and equipment, as instructed by the Deck Foreman
• assisting the Deck Foreman with general work and maintenance; berthing and un-berthing, sea-fastening of cargo and equipment;
• being familiar with his duties in an emergency situation and being aware of acts & regulations, Company’s procedures, and ensures that those are complied with.
Qualifications and Trainings:
• rounded training in maritime direction;
• proven work experience (minimum 1 year) in similar position in the jack-up, offshore or maritime industry;
• stress resistant and hands-on mentality;
• English verbal and written communication skills;
• BOSIET, HUET (incl. EBS) are required
The presence of the following certificates will be a great advantage:
• Medical examination fitness certificate Persons must be in possession of a “Personal Safety Logbook (PSL) with the explicit notification: FIT FOR OFFSHORE”
• Medical + Breathing apparatus examination fitness certificate
• Offshore Safety Introduction and Emergency Response Training (BOSIET)
• Helicopter Deck assistant (HDA)
• Confined Space Entry
• Banksman Offshore
• Member Fire-Fighting and Rescue Team Offshore
• Dangerous Goods By Air Awareness
• Working on Heights
• Rescue from Heights
• BA Compressor + Air Purity Tester
