JOB DETAILS:
Location: Equatorial Guinea
Duration: Approx 3 weeks
Start date: ASAP Jan 13th 2012
Rate: depends on qualifications
Requirements:
The Senior or sole Engine Room (ECR) Watchkeeper should have:
• Second Engineer – III/3 or III/2, OOW – III/1 – STCW95.
• DP Operators certificate issued by the Nautical Institute, or:-
o Comply with the requirements of Guidelines for Design and Operation of
Dynamically Positioned
Vessels DPVOA (IMCA)
o Comply with the requirements as described in Section 4.5 of the IMCA
“Training and Experience of
Key DP Personnel” document.
• An adequate knowledge and experience with the relevant class of vessel
in accordance
Section 5 of the IMCA document, the “training and experience of key DP
Personnel”.
Mandatory Entry Level Requirements:
• Certificate of Competency with 1995 STCW Code/ Certificate of
Equivalent Competency (For people
holding non UK COC)
• ENG 1 (Certificate of Medical Fitness)
• Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft
• Employing Company Induction
• MIST
• UKOOA Medical
• OPITO Survival
• Noise Surveillance Assessment
• Inoculations: Polio; Tetanus; Diphtheria; Hepatitis A & B (for working
with onboard sewage/black water
