We are looking for the right Chief Cook to be part of the crew team onboard the cable layer of our respectable client , who can proof himself with the best skills and experience to achieve a long term contract.
For us is really important that the candidate has different skills and proactive attitude, shown every day as following:
• Fluent in English language. Interview can be performed before join the vessel.
• Very Good communication skills. Considering that he will be in touch with the Captain every day.
• Very good managements and leadership skills. He will manage around 8 people onboard from the Galley Team.
• Proved experience with Western Europe Foods.
• Previous experience cooking for large groups 50-100 is and advantage.
• European Citizen.
• Capacity to work under pressure.
Regarding the trainings and certificates, the candidate should be in possession of:
• STCW Basic Safety Training
• COC Ships Cook
• HACCP certificate
• STCW medical certificate
• HUET
• Boat Transfer / Boat landing course
• CA-EBS certificate
• Potable Drinking Water course is advantage
• First Aid Course (STCW or other is an advantage)
• STCW 95-AVI/6-2 Designated Security Duties
• STCW 95-AVI/2-1 Proficiency in Survival Crafts other than Fast Rescue Boats (it is an advantage)
• Seamans Book.
