From November onwards we will be supplying manpower to a new project in the Middenmeer area of Holland.
This is the construction of a new data centre for a huge company.
Initially our client will need up to 45x Steel Erectors on this project and eventually the following:
• Painters
• Supervisors
• Foreman / team leaders
• Logistics coordinator
• Store keeper
• HGV Driver
• Telescopic forklift
• Grouter
• Banksman
• Spotter
Duration on this phase is until July 2019. At this point they may start another phase so this could be long term for the coming years.
We expect this will be 40-50 hrs per week, no set rotation / leave cycle.
Steel Erecting Requirements:
• IPAF 3a/3b or similar MEWP certificate
• Must know how to interpret / read complex steel structure drawings
• Be fluent in English
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar job
Steel Erecting Duties:
• Working out how to fit the steelwork together following engineers' instructions
• Lifting and guiding components into position with tower cranes
• Lining up and levelling steelwork
• Working from mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) to gain safe access to sections off the ground
• Working on the structure itself, possibly at heights beyond the reach of MEWPs
• Laying down metal decking and fixing safety netting and edge rails as you build up the structure
