Recent information received indicates that an unauthorized or fraudulent email message claiming to be Regional Coast Guard is being sent from email :
coastguard.gog@gmail.com to vessels trading in the GOG area to obtain information.
Vessels and shipping companies are advised to be on alert and to verify such messages.
