Project duration: 12 month with constant rotation ON/OFF
Salary: 644EUR per day
Experience: For the position of Chief Mechanic are looking for candidates with senior positions in rig maintenance at least a with a logistical background and must have a “semi-sub” background.
Certificates:
Bosiet (basic offshore safety induction & emergency training) Huet (helicopter underwater escape training)
UKOOA Medical (Offshore medical Examination)
They will be responsible for maintenance of the rig and leave will only be affected during sea trials.
Candidates should have a very good maintenance background on semi subs. Initial employment will be on Lonestar and persons will transfer to successor rigs. Responsibilities:
Assemble library of rotating equipment and maintenance regimes
Conduct routine maintenance as per manufacturers recommendations
Order replacement parts as necessary in advance of maintenance
Ensure equipment preservation as per manufacturers recommendations is maintained during construction
Arrange vendor visits where necessary to conform with maintenance regime
Ensure suitable tool arsenal is onboard to perform the above
Persons MUST be hands on, desk bound supervisors not required
