Requirements:
- passport (at least valid for 6 months after signing off)
- seaman’s book (national and flag state)
- Chief Engineer all ships / < 3000 Kw / > 750 Kw
- Shipmanagement Technical
- ITSO
- seafarer medical examination (at least valid till the end of the intended contract onboard VOS BV vessel)
- BST and other rank based STCW courses (appropriate for the type of vessel trade)
- good command of the English language (both verbal and in writing) and we must receive proof thereof (Marlins Test Result)
- Vaccinations required for area of sailing
- CBA or otherwise agreed T&C’s for seafarer
- Proficiency in survival craft
- Advanced Fire fighting
