Reporting to the Operations Supervisor lead and co-ordinate the activities of direct reports to achieve the strategic priorities of the platform
Supervise the maintenance operations associated with all hydrocarbon, utility and safety systems on the platform (excluding equipment and systems directly associated with drilling activities)
Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a manner that conforms with Client policies and procedures, provide effective leadership and drive continuous improvement by facilitating and supporting Safety, Environmental and Operational Excellence
Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with statutory regulations, Safety Management System and procedures
Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a cost effective manner and that safety critical maintenance is executed in a manner that secures fitness for purpose
Co-ordinate the planning and implementation of significant / major workscopes i.e. those that fall outside planned construction scopes
Monitor and control maintenance operations in order to maximise revenue and minimise expenditure ensuring that this is accomplished within the requirements of Legislative and Company requirements
Ensure that safety critical maintenance is effected and managed to secure the integrity of the installation, any defects being reported to the OIM
Monitor equipment and systems to ensure that the required performance is maintained or enhanced in order to secure the safety and/or commercial objectives of the asset
When required and suitably qualified and trained act as Radiation Protection Supervisor
Accept the responsibility of Area Authority for designated areas, systems and equipment ensuring the effective implementation of the Permit to Work System
Leadership:
Manage and control the activities of the Maintenance Discipline Teams in an effective, efficient and safe manner
Provide positive leadership encouraging teams and team members to be a part of, and contribute to, the objectives of the organisation, thereby contributing to the profitability of the asset
Ensure that supervised personnel are properly trained and that competency is assured
Complete Performance Reviews and act as competence mentor and assessor as necessary
Safety, Health and Environment:
By example, actions and initiatives, demonstrate and promote the commitment to a safe and environmentally responsible approach to its business activities
Liaison with HSE Inspectors as required
Education, Qualifications & Experience
Ideal candidates must have a thorough understanding of offshore production and utility systems and appropriate project management experience. The ability to share knowledge and skills when required and support and motivate others to achieve team goals would be of benefit. Candidates should ideally be degree qualified or equivalent time served and must be able to demonstrate relevant operational experience in a similar role.

Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Commercial and financial awareness
Computer Literate, MS Packages, presentation, planning and database systems
Thorough understanding and previous relevant experience of being a Permit to Work Area Authority signatory. (ISSOW)
