The requested crew need to be in possession of next valid (including authenticity check) certification:
• passport (at least valid for 6 months after signing off)
• seaman’s book (national and preferably flag state, at least valid for 6 months after signing off)
• certificate of competence (national and preferably flag state, at least valid for 6 months after signing off)
• seafarer medical examination (at least valid till the end of the intended contract on board VOS BV vessel)
• BST and other rank based STCW courses (appropriate for the type of vessel trade)
• Must have a good command of the English language (both verbal and in writing) and we must receive proof thereof (Marlins test)
• Vaccinations required for area of sailing
Other requirements:
• Dutch CoC 2/E all ships
• DP Kongsberg experience
• DP Technical certificate is prefereable
• DSV experience
• Preferably experience as 2/E
• Strong candidate required
• Written reference/previous appraisals
