For one of our respectable client we are looking for :
The radio operator
operate and maintain all the (tele-) communications equipment;
alive after all associated procedures;
is responsible for communication to and from the platform with helicopters, supply boats, etc.;
performs administrative tasks such as cabin layout, tracking number of persons on board (POB List), making Weather reports and other reports, track log and register hours ;
is responsible for all communications (internal & external);
will ensure a good cooperation and maintain close links with Heli-Admin, the OLC's (Offshore Logistics Co-ordinators), the team Helideck (HLO & HDA) and customers;
likes order and cleanliness and discipline in the control room to stand;
creates and prepares emergency team lists and schedules for the lifeboat.
Job Profile:
The radio operator
is in possession of a Marcom - A (GMDSS) Certificate, NOGEPA 0.5A, Offshore Medical examination and a KLM Flight Watch / CAA;
has experience in the oil and gas industry or Royal Navy is a plus;
is in possession of Personal Log Book (PSL) with a valid offshore certificates and SCC is an advantage;
has good knowledge and experience of / in Microsoft Office programs Word and Exel (pre;
has good knowledge English language (both oral and written);
stress-resistant, has good communication skills and you can make subservient;
has team spirit and flexibility.
Vessel: Jack-UP
Location: North Sea.
Duration: 2 week's on 2 week's off .
Wages: attractive day rate depending on experience.
Min requirements: unrestricted GMDSS + Bosiet+Offshore health certificate.
