It's interesting to know your experience about fire arms on board.
Situation with piracy in different parts of world is bringing this issue up more and more every day.
I have heard about commercial security companies who provide armed security on board. How does it work? Are companies willing to pay for this service?
Does anybody knows if some shipping companies keep weapons on board permanently and if so how are they dealing with port authorities and insurance companies?
