For one of our respectable client we are looking for :
Superintendent
Vessel : Pipe lay 8 pint mooring barge.
Joining: mid of January 2012.
Location: Persian Gulf .
Duration: 12 week's.
Wages: attractive day rate depending on expeirence.
EU candidates preferably.
Job Title : Superintendent
Job Objective(s) :
Overall management and supervision of project related construction activities.
To enforce Company rules, statutory rules and local requirements regarding all construction activities, construction personnel and sub-contractors.
Job Task(s) :
Ensure all construction activities are properly controlled, supervised and executed.
Responsible for the activities of the Field Engineers.
Issue non-conformances, site queries - concession request to client.
Responsible for disciplinary matters relating to construction personnel.
Terminate the construction operations for safety or other reasons.
Liaise with the client’s representative on contractual and operational matters.
Authorise requisitions for all construction related materials.
Maintain day-to-day communication with Welder foreman and barge foreman.
Qualifications :
Completion of external safety/trade training .
Extensive experience as Superintendent/ Barge foreman or as master on Pipelayvessel
Full knowledge on pipelay procedures and management procedures.
Management skills
