For one of our respectable clients we are looking for:
Tower Operator
Vessel : Pipe lay 8 point mooring barge.
Joining: mid of January 2012.
Location: Persian Gulf .
Duration: 12 week's.
Wages: attractive day rate netto depending on experience.
EU candidates preferably .
Job Title : Tower Operator
Job Tasks :
Responsible for operating winch drums.
Communication to keep the anchor foreman informed of anchor positions, length of anchor wire out, positions of existing pipelines or structures
Monitoring the radio for traffic of other vessels that are operating in the same fields.
Qualifications :
Minimum five year experience
Candidates must have knowledge of anchors, computer survey screens and survey maps to keep the vessel on the proper heading and in the right of way or next to the structure.
Completion of safety/trade training .
Fluent English (verbal and written)
