We are looking for 2nd Engineer to join
Vessel: Passenger (Cruise) Ship, 2019, NLD flag
2 ABC main engines; total 4,200 kW
Start: 11-05-2023 in Ushuaia, Argentina
Duration: fixed rotation 2,5 months on/off
Booster vaccination against COVID-19 is required.
Candidates with experience on passenger vessels (or smaller vessels) have an advantage
Wages: € 360,- gross per working day (approx. € 295,- net)
• Dutch temporary employment agreement
• Social security, pension and health insurance premiums will be deducted from the wages.
Seafarer is responsible for paying wage taxes in the home country in accordance with the applicable legislation.
Required certificates (originals required):
? Medical certificate
? National Certificate of Competency: Second Engineer unlimited: A-III/2
? Dutch Certificate of Competency: Second Engineer unlimited: A-III/2
? Safety training for personnel providing direct service to passengers in passenger spaces A-V/2.2
? Passenger ship crowd management training A-V/2.3
? Crisis management and human behaviour training A-V/2.4
? Basic Safety Training A-VI/1
? Proficiency Survival Craft and Rescue Boats A-VI/2-1
? Advanced Fire Fighting: A-VI/3
? Medical First Aid A-VI/4-1
? Security training for seafarers with designated security duties: A-VI/6-2
