Logistic Superintendent for future Project in March!

Good morning dear All,

For the future project in Mexico, which will start operations in March already we are looking for Logistic Superintendent.

We are looking for the exploratory drilling crew for one year, it will be done in 3 phases of which we are now in phase 1; Planning (Phase 2 is Operation and Phase 3 is Closing the project).


Duties and responsibilities:
•   To be the lead for all logistics planning, contracting and execution requirements to support the deep-water drilling campaign.
•   To prepare and deliver the Logistics Strategy and detailed execution & contracting plans for the drilling campaign.
•   Provide expert logistics management for all aspects of the Operation.
•   Direct the Materials, Aviation and Marine Teams in their day to day work to ensure the most efficient use of vessels and aircraft to enable timely delivery of personnel, equipment and consumables for the overall benefit and efficiency of the operation. At all costs avoid the drilling rig waiting on equipment or personnel.
•   Manage and direct the work of the Freight Forwarding contractor.
•   Ensure Logistics & Customs and permit requirements are understood and adhered to avoid all fines and avoidable costs.
•   Manage the Inbound Materials and Equipment movements in line with operational and project requirements.
•   Manage the transportation of personnel and aviation operations.
•   Manage Marine operations.
•   Manage performance reporting across all aspects of Logistics, including budget, service levels and compliance.
•   Manage any Logistics incident management.
•   Enforce Petronas HSE requirements and policies.
•   Ensure that materials are stored and maintained so to avoid degradation and that accurate up to date
•   Maintain materials inventories in excellent condition at all times.
•   Report to the Drilling Superintendent.


Required qualifications, experience and competencies:
•   10 years proven senior logistics management experience in offshore drilling campaigns
•   Excellent communicator in both written and verbally formats
•   Fluent in English and Spanish.
•   Good networking with host authority at the port area.


Important to keep in mind and profiles without the following are not accepted:
-   Deepwater experience
-   Language English AND Spanish speaking
-   IWCF Level 4 (http://www.iwcf.org/training-qualifications/certificates)
-   Looking for candidates that have experience with operators (ENI, Shell, BP, Exxon, Total or any other)
