For the future projects in January 2018 we are looking for Baltic Hydrographic Surveyors.
Online surveyor details:
In the position as Online Surveyor you’ll work in a certiain rotation schedule on board of one of for example Wind turbine installation vessels, Rock Dumping Vessels, Cable Laying Vessels or Diving Support Vessels or Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers.
Sometimes the survey activities are executed on board a separate small survey vessel.
On board of the vessel as a Online Surveyor you are responsible for collecting and processing of survey data, such as the exact positioning of a Monopile, the location of a cable or pipeline on the seabed, the volume and placement of armor rock on top of foundations or pipelines, placement of mattresses on the seabed or the volume of dumped sand/stones/earth on a certain location.
You ensure that surveys are executed on a safe manner and strive for the highest quality of the delivered products. Together with the other members of the survey team, you contribute to the preparation, execution and finalization's of every project for survey specific activities.
Requirements:
• You have basic knowledge of the software package QINSy and/or PDS2000 and/or other survey software programs
• You have basic experience in CAD software.
• You have knowledge of ICT Office applications.
• Most of the time the client asks for a higher vocational education in Hydrography and/or Land survey or geodetics/geodetic engineering.
• You are a team player with good communication skills.
• You have an EU passport.
• Good command of English language, verbal and written.
• Good knowledge of different types of survey equipment, such as multibeam-/singlebeam echo sounder, side-scan sonar (SSS) etc.
Offline Surveyor (Data Processor) details:
As a data processor you are responsible to process the data gained by the online surveyor, using different sorts of software, aiming to prepare the date for a report which can be shown to the client who ordered the survey.
Requirements:
• You have basic knowledge of the software package QINSy and/or PDS2000 and/or other survey software programs
• You have basic experience in CAD software.
• You have knowledge of ICT Office applications.
• Most of the time the client asks for a higher vocational education in Hydrography and/or Land survey or geodetics/geodetic engineering.
• You are a team player with good communication skills.
