Job Description:
• Roofing involves heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and kneeling. Roofers replace, repair, and install the roofs of buildings using a variety of materials, including shingles, bitumen, and metal
• We need Roofers who have operated & worked with Mobile Vertical & Mobile Boom elevated work platforms
Tools
• Nibbler
• Sabre or reciprocating saw
• Drill / Screwgun
Additional Information
• First sheet / panel is installed, then insulation, then second sheet
• Modern cladding systems usually come as one sandwich panel
• Kingspan is the most common form of cladding
• A piece of kit called a cleyboy is used, the 4 suction pads are attached to the panel and the panel is manoeuvred into place
• Panels fit together like tongue and grove
Required
• Roofing experience including sheeting & cladding
• Must be able to work from drawings / plans
• IPAF/MEWP or similar certification & experience
• VCA Dutch Safety
• Good English language
Conditions
• Start ASAP
• Negotiable rate (12-12.50 EUR/hour NET)
• 40-45hrs per week
• Accommodation arranged and paid by BBL
• 80 EUR towards the journey to Holland
• Hire vehicles (shared) arranged and paid by BBL
• Ongoing / long term work
