FRS Shipmanagement Ltd seeks a talented Technical Superintendent to join their international team based in Limassol, Cyprus
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong technical background including
o qualified STCW Chief Engineer
o either >24.000 kW
o or unlimited for minimum 3 years
• Passenger Ship License
• HSC experience
• Guidance of technical team during vessel maintenance

o Leading of internal and external Service teams
o Ability to guide & communicate effectively with Fleet Management and Crews

o Inquiries and evaluation of quotations
o Budget Estimates
o Detailed Checks of Quotations and Invoices
o Yard Tenders
o Annual Budgeting
o Sensitivity for costs control and bookkeeping
• COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE
o Fluent English and German language skills both written & spoken
• COMPUTER LITERACY
o Planned Maintenance System (AMOS, AVECS)
o Store and Purchase Systems (AMOS, AVECS)
o MS Office Applications
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Living in Cyprus as your primary residence
• 35% Sailing as Chief Engineer on
o Cyprus flagged vessels in Europe: Car Ferries / HSC Passenger Crafts
o STCW Certificate in lags of about 14 days
• 20% Superintendent based in Cyprus
o ISPS
o CSO
o Training Courses
o Support for DPA
• 30% Superintendent
o Shore-based outside Cyprus
• 15% Sailing as Chief Engineer on other flag vessels
o RORO Ferries / RoPax Ferries / HSC RoPax
