Dear Sir / Madam,

     I am looking for opportunity to start as The Third Mate or a Junior Officer. Also I consider the possibility to work as an Dredger operator. Let me explain some of the reasons why I am a good candidate. In addition to my Specialist of Science degree in Marine Navigation, I have spent the past three years working within an Offshore Industry where I have gained considerable experience. During this time I have worked on AHTS vessel, Backhoe Dredger, Suction hopper dredger and multipurpose vessel. I have been responsible for a navigational watch, dredging operations; heavy lift crane operations; safety, maintenance and ships repair operations. I have excellent productivity and safety records and am accustomed to working with a variety of teammates. Also, I work well under pressure, have strong leadership skills and speak English rather well.

I am currently employed by Ukrainian Dredging Company as an Ordinary seaman and I am keen to pursue a career in navigation, because I enjoy seafaring and rescue. Also I want to find a steady, company that looks after its staff and pays them well.
