Aburgus Risk Management in cooperation with Reval Maritime School will offer a comprehensive package of internationally recognized Courses and Certificates for future Maritime Security Officers.
NB! Please note that the courses are entitled to seamen with security duties on vessel and will not qualify participants as Maritime Security Officers performing armed security on vessels. However, the package is consisting of demanded and highly advised maritime courses that should be conducted before entering to this field of work.
Within 13 days of intensive training (theory & practice) you will pass six Courses and receive eight Certificates that will qualify you to the good entry level to apply for Maritime Security Officer positions throughout maritime security industry.
The Courses and Certificates (those in italic will be embedded in other courses but issued as separate certificates):
1.Basic Safety Training at Sea STCW95 Code A-VI/1-1/1-2/1-3/1-4
2.Ship Security Officer – SSO (IMO model course 3.19)
3.Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (IMO model course 3.26)
4.Security Awareness Training for all Seafarers (IMO model course 3.27)
5.Company Security Officer – CSO (IMO model course 3.20)
6.Port Facility Security Officer – PFSO (IMO model course 3.21)
7.Tanker Familiarization Training Course (IMO model course 1.01)
8.Actions to be taken to prevent acts of piracy and armed robbery – BMP4 (IMO Model course 3.23)
•The training and examinations will take place in Tallinn, Estonia (3 hours flight from London).
•The Price for the MSOPC is: € 2350
•including accommodation in modern hotel near city centre with breakfast and shuttle bus every training day to the School and back.
