I am currently looking for Diesel Service Enginer.
The position:
For the major overhauls of the MAN STX Four Stroke Medium Speed Diesel Engines on board of the DPS3 SEMI SUBMERSIBLE CRANE VESSEL we are looking for a Diesel Service Engineer, on project basis.
The Diesel Service Engineer is part of the Technical Maintenance Team and proper reporting of the executed jobs to the Technical Management is part of the daily routine.
Job requirements:
· 10 Years of proven experience as Diesel Service Engineer (with MAN, MAK or W?rtsila).
· Experience with major overhauls of medium speed diesel engines.
· Excellent communication skills in both spoken- and written English.
· Must be able to perform duties independently in 12 hours shifts.
· Flexible attitude (Embarkation- and disembarkation dates are not firm yet*).
· Adhere to the highest Oil- and Gas company safety standards- and regulations.
· In the possession of a valid BOSIET certificate.
· A valid Certificate of Conduct / Criminal Record (<3 months) is required for the Brazilian Visa application.
Period:
Two periods of 3- up to 4 weeks on board, Offshore in Brazilian Waters.
· First period foreseen* Early September 2016 (3- up to 4 weeks).
· Second period foreseen* Early November 2016 (3- up to 4 weeks).
* The exact dates are uncertain and will be confirmed closer to date, therefore a flexible attitude from the candidate is a requirement.
